IMPORTANT PLEASE READ for WebEOC Account Support:
System Lock Outs and Retrieving Login Credentials
- System lock outs as a result of incorrect login credentials are TEMPORARY at first - stop after SECOND bad attempt.
- Check number and CAP locks, then try ONE MORE TIME.
- If the login fails a THIRD time, proceed with retrieving your credentials.
- Read and accept the statement on the WebEOC splash page to continue.
- Remember that you must use the email address associated with the account to retrieve credentials.
- Use the Forgot Username first and then proceed with Forgot Password, before contacting an administrator.
- Close any open browser window for WebEOC before opening the email with the retrieved credentials.
- It may be necessary to clear the cache or try a different browser. Using a “private” or “incognito” window often helps to ensure that stored settings are disregarded.
- IMPORTANT:
- If you are still having issues or do not receive the system email, PLEASE REVIEW the WebEOC flash article Vol. I-Issue #002 located on the DEMHS website (www.ct.gov/demhs/webeoc).
- ALSO, PASSWORDS EXPIRE and periodic logins are required to maintain your account. If you have not logged in or changed your password in some time - NOW, is the time before your account is disabled. Accounts without activity are expunged during security audits.
- Those individuals unable to retrieve a Username or Password through the above steps, likely no longer have an account or are not using an email address associated with it. In this situation, follow the instructions under New User Account Requests.
New User Account Requests
All new accounts or account profile changes should be entered on a WebEOC User Account and Position Access Form. Please follow all instructions carefully before submitting. Below are some tips for form use.
- Review the form for guidance regarding qualifying Authorized Representatives.
- Download the file locally to ensure that the fields you filled in are completed in the file that you are attaching -some Adobe products and browsers do not save the form entries.
- Please have the Authorized Representative sign (typed) and submit the request for new accounts. Signatures may be TYPED by the Authorized Representative - they do not need a verified digital signature. Do NOT submit scanned copies of forms.
- If your email account is not setup to use the form button, simply attach manually to a new email message. Alternatively, an Authorized Representative with an active WebEOC account may submit the completed form through a B.U.G.S. Reporter record in WebEOC.
